With every new opportunity comes nervousness and jitters. Although I have been a professional video producer for over a decade, shooting my first micro-wedding ceremony gave me butterflies. I am very confident in my work, but the pressure was building up as time got closer to the couple saying “I Do”.
Mikayla and Corey elected to broadcast their wedding via live stream, so making sure that the feed came out clear was also nerve racking. I did not want to have my first experience shooting a wedding be my last. Needless to say, everything went well as planned and I walked away capturing great footage.
The couple was extremely nice and cooperative. I could not have been paired up with a better couple as my first wedding client. It was also helpful that I was teamed up with a great group of vendors as well. They were very professional and understanding and went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable.
